This natural Imperial Topaz crystal from Ouro Preto, Minas Gerais, Brazil has a bright golden-yellow to warm champagne-gold colour, with subtle deeper golden tones appearing through different angles and lighting. At 15ct, it forms a substantial 2cm prismatic crystal with good transparency, vitreous lustre and pronounced natural longitudinal striations across the main faces.

The upper end retains a recognisable natural termination, with textured and etched terminal faces rather than a perfectly sharp point. Inside the crystal are natural inclusions, growth features and small internal fractures, while sizeable areas remain transparent when held to the light. Its appeal is the combination of saturated classic Imperial Topaz colour, substantial crystal form and preserved natural termination from the historic Ouro Preto district.
