These are natural faceted Watermelon Tourmaline gemstones from the Itapitanga Mine in Minas Gerais, Brazil, showing the distinctive pink and green colour zoning that gives Watermelon Tourmaline its name. Many show clearly defined bicolour zoning, with occasional more complex colour transitions, and each small gemstone has polished facets that bring out the colour while retaining plenty of natural character.

I really like these because no two are quite the same. Some are predominantly vivid pink, others show stronger green edges, and several have particularly clear colour boundaries when held to the light. They average around 0.6 carats each and are available individually or as small gemstone lots, with every order hand selected from the parcel shown for a good mixture of colour, shape and overall appearance.
