This tricolour tourmaline crystal from Paprok, Afghanistan shows a vivid blend of green and pink hues in a naturally terminated, transparent prism. It weighs 5 carats and measures approximately 1.3 × 0.4 × 0.1 cm, with crisp vertical striations and a clean, wedge-shaped termination. The balanced zoning and clarity give it strong collector appeal despite its slender geometry.
Its green–pink–green banding is even and visible from all faces, contrasting beautifully under light. The crystal has a bright vitreous lustre and no polishing or repair – a fine, unaltered example of authentic Paprok elbaite. Despite its size, it displays well in hand or under light, making it ideal for perky box or cabinet presentation.
