A small but beautifully proportioned Moroccan fluorite specimen from the Touroug-El Hamda Quarries, with large pale golden-yellow to champagne cubes sitting across a finely crystallised peach-toned matrix. The fluorite has very good transparency for its size, with broad vitreous faces and subtle lilac to purple colour concentrated around some of the crystal edges. The largest cube dominates the composition, with several smaller fluorites arranged naturally around it.

The crystals are unusually substantial relative to the overall 3.5cm specimen, giving it much more presence than the measurements might suggest. There are natural contacts, small edge marks and minor surface imperfections, all shown clearly in the photographs. The specimen was acquired already attached with putty to a separate selenite plate and has been left exactly this way, as parts of the natural matrix are thin and I would not risk damaging it by attempting removal.
