Spessartine garnet cluster, natural chinese fujian garnet specimen, rare mineral crystal for display and geology samples

• One-off natural mineral specimen. You will receive the exact piece shown in the photos.
• Selected for colour, form and display appeal. Once sold, it will not be restocked.
• Photographed under neutral lighting to show accurate colour and clarity.

This natural spessartine garnet cluster displays a dense covering of sparkling orange-red crystals across its surface. Sourced from Tongbei in Fujian Province, China, it offers the bright colour and rich coverage that made this locality world-famous among mineral collectors.

At 6.4 × 5.4 × 4.0 cm and 145 g, this piece sits comfortably in the cabinet-miniature range, with excellent balance between size and display potential. The garnets show good lustre and colour saturation, with many sharp dodecahedral forms scattered among the sparkling carpet of smaller crystals. With mining in Tongbei now closed, pieces of this calibre are increasingly difficult to source, making this a desirable addition to any serious collection.
