Purple scapolite crystal, raw scapolite gemstone, natural scapolite rough, untreated tanzania crystal, merelani mineral specimen

• One off natural mineral specimen. You will receive the exact piece shown in the photos.
• Selected for colour, form and display appeal. Once sold, it will not be restocked.
• Photographed under neutral lighting to show accurate colour and clarity.

Natural purple scapolite crystals from the Merelani Hills of Tanzania are becoming increasingly difficult to source, particularly examples that retain attractive crystal form and good transparency. This untreated specimen displays a delicate lilac-purple colour with pleasing clarity, making it an excellent choice for mineral collectors, gemstone enthusiasts and anyone looking for a genuine natural crystal from one of the world’s most recognised gemstone localities.

Unlike most scapolite, which is cut into faceted gemstones, this crystal has been left completely natural, preserving its original crystal habit and geological character. Its combination of Merelani provenance, attractive transparency and natural form makes it equally suited to a mineral collection, cabinet display or a bespoke jewellery or lapidary project for those who enjoy working with natural gemstone rough.
