This is a natural Peridot crystal from Supat Gali, Pakistan, with a compact prismatic form, natural termination and a particularly bright lime-green colour. Although only 1.3 cm long, the crystal has strong translucency and really comes alive when light passes through it, shifting from softer olive green to a much more vivid almost neon green.

What I particularly like about this piece is how clearly it still reads as a complete natural crystal despite its miniature size. The proportions are compact and balanced, with visible natural growth texture, internal features and a small amount of darker material around the base. At 4.1 grams it makes a lovely thumbnail-sized Peridot specimen for anyone who prefers recognisable crystal form and strong natural colour over larger pieces with less character.
