This natural Colombian emerald crystal weighs 1.9 carats and measures approximately 8 × 6 mm. It shows a vivid medium-deep green tone with balanced translucency and a sharp, naturally flat termination. The prism faces are clean and lustrous, typical of well-formed emeralds from Colombia’s famed Coscuez mining area in Boyacá Department.
Unlike smaller fragments, this piece is a full, self-contained single crystal with defined geometry and pleasing symmetry. The small pale mark seen in photographs is mineral tack used for photography, not part of the crystal. Its clarity, saturation, and form make it suitable for a refined raw emerald ring or pendant, or as a high-quality addition to any curated mineral collection. Terminated Colombian singles approaching two carats are scarce, giving this piece genuine collector and jewellery value.
