This is a curated group of genuine Libyan Desert Glass from the Great Sand Sea of Western Egypt, near the Libyan border. Each piece is naturally formed, completely unpolished and individually shaped by millions of years of desert exposure, with colours ranging from soft lemon yellow to warmer honey tones.

Libyan Desert Glass is a silica-rich natural glass formed around 29 million years ago during an extreme high-temperature event. Its exact formation mechanism is still debated, but evidence strongly links it to an extraterrestrial impact event. These specimens retain the characteristic sculptural surfaces, translucency and wind-worn textures associated with material from the Great Sand Sea.
