Large pyrite crystal cluster from Colombia, featuring natural cubic formations and a brilliant metallic lustre. This piece comes from the Boyacá emerald mining region, known for producing rare, display-grade pyrite specimens. With its sharp faces and sculptural growth, this is a substantial mineral suitable for collectors or energy workers alike.
Weighing in at 2.3 kilograms, this is one of the largest Colombian pyrite specimens available on the retail market. The cubes are sharply formed with crisp edges and natural stepped faces across multiple sides. There is minor natural edge wear, as expected on a piece of this size, but overall integrity and geometry are excellent. The surface reflectivity is strong, particularly under direct light, and the formation has a natural architectural quality when viewed from different angles.
This specimen was sourced from the Palo Arañado Mine in Chivor – Boyacá, a region more widely known for emerald production. High-quality pyrite of this scale is unusual from this area and typically does not appear on the open market in quantities. This is a serious collector-grade cluster with both visual impact and locality value.

Metaphysical Properties
Pyrite is strongly associated with energy protection, manifestation, and grounding. Many use it to support confidence and personal drive. Larger specimens like this are often kept near entryways or workspaces to create a sense of focus and deflect stagnant energy. Its cubic geometry is believed to reinforce structure and resilience on an energetic level.
