A naturally terminated green tourmaline crystal showing a vivid tricolour zoning pattern, bright green at the upper section, a pale pink-white band through the middle, and a lighter green base. The colours are well defined under light, and the crystal has strong transparency with a clean, lustrous surface.

This piece was mined in the Paprok region of Afghanistan, well known for producing world-class elbaite tourmaline. Its colour sequence differs from the more common pink-core “watermelon” form, having instead grown in alternating green and pink layers along its length. One image shows part of the wider batch from the same pocket, included to demonstrate the consistent colour and quality of this limited find.
