• One-off natural mineral specimen. You will receive the exact piece shown in the photos. • Selected for colour, form and display appeal. Once sold, it will not be restocked. • Photographed under controlled lighting to show the specimen clearly, including colour, zoning, and internal detail. Appearance may vary slightly under different lighting conditions. This is one of those specimens where the scale really matters. At 1.53kg, it is a substantial piece of Moroccan fluorite, built from densely intergrown cubic crystals with salmon-pink baryte occurring between and beneath them. The fluorite ranges from smoky grey and olive through to warmer champagne and honey tones, with complex stepped growth across many of the larger faces. There is a lot of depth to the piece, with crystals continuing around several sides rather than being restricted to one flat display face. It is also surprisingly translucent for its size, glowing deep amber-orange when strongly backlit. As expected for a large natural specimen of this type, there are contact areas, small edge chips and some incomplete crystal sections, all left exactly as found and photographed clearly. Specifications Mineral: Fluorite with Baryte Weight: 1,530g Size: 13.5 × 11.2 × 7.5cm Origin: Chebka Sidi Said, Mibladen, Midelt Province, Morocco Crystal Habit: Densely intergrown cubic fluorite with stepped and terraced growth Colour: Smoky grey, olive, champagne and honey fluorite with salmon-pink baryte Transparency: Translucent, with clearer areas through thinner crystal sections and edges Lustre: Vitreous to lightly frosted Display: Large cabinet specimen with several strong viewing angles Please note that the intense amber-orange colour shown in the backlit photographs is produced by transmitted light passing through the fluorite. In normal reflected light, the specimen has the more subdued smoky, olive and champagne colouring shown throughout the other photographs. Metaphysical Fluorite is traditionally associated with focus, clarity and organisation, while baryte is often linked with insight and a calmer sense of direction. These associations are spiritual traditions rather than scientifically established properties.
