This compact Okorusu fluorite combines unusually strong purple colour with pale mint-green and near-colourless fluorite across a dense group of intergrown cubic crystals. Several broad faces are saturated violet to deep aubergine-purple, while adjoining crystals become progressively paler green and more translucent. The change in colour becomes particularly striking as the specimen is rotated under light. The specimen is remarkably three dimensional for its 3.6 cm size. Larger purple cubes rise alongside paler green fluorite, with stepped growth, internal colour zoning and several strongly reflective crystal faces visible from different angles. Small patches of pale crystalline material and minor brown-orange mineralisation remain naturally attached and have been left unidentified rather than assigning a mineral species from photographs alone.
