  • One-off natural mineral specimen. You will receive the exact piece photographed, personally selected for its colour, crystal formation and overall appearance.
  • Photographed under controlled lighting to show the crystal detail; colours may appear different in natural light.

This natural blue-teal fluorite from the Butterfly Pocket at the Okorusu Mine in Namibia features a striking arrangement of intergrown cubic crystals, with two prominent upper cubes rising above smaller blue-green crystal growth. The larger crystals display vivid turquoise and icy-blue colouring, with darker teal interiors and subtle violet-purple zones visible beneath their translucent surfaces. Their angular formation gives this small specimen an unusually sculptural appearance, with strong colour contrast across several viewing angles.

What makes this piece particularly attractive is the way its larger crystals reveal different shades of blue and green as the light passes through them. The upper cubes display broad geometric faces and internal colour zoning, while smaller, darker crystals add depth around their bases. The reverse is considerably rougher, with pale associated material, orange-brown mineralisation and natural growth contacts. Although there are visible surface markings, internal fractures and some imperfect crystal edges, the vivid colour and distinctive cubic formation give this miniature considerable visual character.
