This blue fluorite cluster from the Butterfly Pocket at Okorusu Mine has a broad square face that draws you straight into its colour. Dark blue bands follow the crystal’s outline, surrounding brighter teal areas beneath paler outer edges. Smaller intergrown cubes sit across the front, with purple zoning appearing around the sides. What I particularly like is how much there is to look at within a 3 cm specimen.

The front gives you those overlapping cubic shapes, while the reverse reveals more violet colour and a much rougher texture. An appealing miniature for someone collecting Okorusu fluorite for its internal zoning, crystal form and named pocket provenance.
