Double terminated quartz crystal, swiss alps mineral, natural orange quartz with coating, raw floater crystal, rare alpine specimen

• One-off natural mineral specimen. You will receive the exact piece shown in the photos.
• Selected for colour, form and display appeal. Once sold, it will not be restocked.
• Photographed under neutral lighting to show accurate colour and clarity.

This raw double-terminated quartz crystal comes from the slopes of Le Catogne in the Swiss Alps, featuring a rugged natural surface coated in a blend of calcite and siderite. The earthy orange and dark mineral tones give it a distinctive Alpine look, shaped over time in isolated cavities deep within the rock.

The elongated hexagonal structure, fully formed without any contact points, makes this a classic “floater” — a free-grown crystal with natural terminations on both ends. Though it’s not flashy or transparent, the character lies in its coarse texture and complex coating.

We don’t come across pieces like this often. If you’re looking for a genuinely natural, untouched Alpine quartz from a known Swiss locality, this is one worth considering.
