This is a natural Swiss Alpine quartz crystal point from Geeren Valley in Obergoms, Valais, Switzerland. It has a broad, well-formed natural termination with clear upper faces, while the lower part of the crystal becomes more included and milky, giving the piece a lovely contrast between clarity and natural Alpine growth.

What I particularly like about this one is how substantial it feels for a relatively compact crystal. At 23.2 grams and around 3.4 cm across, it has a broad rather than slender form, with internal veils, fractures and reflective planes becoming much more obvious as you turn it through the light. It is a very natural-looking Swiss quartz specimen with plenty happening internally, rather than simply being another clean colourless quartz point.
