This set includes four natural blue apatite crystals from Merelani in Tanzania, with the lovely icy aqua-blue colour this material can produce. All four have good translucency to transparency, with plenty of light travelling through them and natural prismatic crystal form still clearly visible.

I particularly like them together because each crystal is slightly different. Some are clearer, some show stronger blue colour, and the taller crystal has especially nice proportions and definition. They aren’t perfect textbook crystals and there are natural contacts, inclusions and incomplete termination areas, but as a group they make a really attractive little set of Merelani apatite.
