This natural black tektite from the Philippines is a Rizalite specimen, formed from ancient meteorite impact glass. Rizalites belong to the Australasian strewn field, the largest on Earth, and are valued by collectors for their raw sculpted textures, rarity, and strong connection to cosmic events.

This piece shows a distinctive vertical form with stacked ridges, sharp grooves, and a stable flat base, giving it presence whether displayed upright or on its side. Its natural surface retains pitting, flow lines, and etched patterns from rapid cooling after the impact, with no polishing or treatment. A clean and authentic example of Philippine impact glass, equally suited to collectors of tektites and those seeking visually dynamic specimens for display.
