This Rizalite (also known as Bicolite or Phillipinite) is a natural tektite from the Philippines — part of the Australasian strewnfield formed by a meteorite impact around 780,000 years ago. It weighs 29 grams and measures 3.5 x 2.6 x 2.4 cm, with a distinctive oval shape and slightly flattened profile. The surface features classic Rizalite pitting and etched grooves with subtle layering and natural variation across each face.

Unlike the more commonly seen Thai or Indochinite tektites, Rizalites are found in far smaller numbers and are especially prized by collectors due to their limited geographic range and distinctive morphology. This particular piece shows strong surface luster and crisp natural detailing without any artificial polishing or alteration.

Metaphysical Info:

Rizalites are often chosen by those interested in consciousness work, as it’s believed to carry similar energetic properties to Moldavite; helping with insight, energetic cleansing, and protection during meditation or dreamwork. While each person’s experience will vary, Rizalite is frequently associated with grounding during rapid shifts and with clarity during periods of inner exploration.
