This natural bicolour tourmaline crystal from the Cruzeiro Mine in Brazil weighs 5.8 carats. The crystal shows a soft pink upper half fading smoothly into vivid green at the base, creating a classic watermelon effect. It is slim and elongated, with a gemmy interior that glows under light. The termination is etched and natural, adding texture rather than a sharp prism finish.

Cruzeiro is one of the world’s most important sources of fine elbaite, valued for its vivid colours and distinctive zoning. This miniature captures both qualities in a compact form. The balanced pink-to-green gradient gives it a unique presence in display, setting it apart from single-colour crystals of similar size.
