This natural red beryl crystal from Utah shows a vivid raspberry-red tone with balanced hexagonal symmetry. Weighing 2.05 carats and measuring about 7.5 mm across, it’s a substantial, well-formed example that exceeds the size of most crystals from this locality. The termination is complete and naturally flat, showing a gentle sheen under light with fine vapour-etching typical of Wah Wah material. Prism faces display soft frosting and a clean hexagonal outline, while a small secondary overgrowth on one side adds visual character.

Mounted with removable mineral tack, the crystal itself is intact, unrepaired, and free of damage. Colour ranges from crimson-pink through deeper raspberry tones, with lighter internal zoning visible at the core. The combination of clarity at the edges, natural matte texture, and a flat, undisturbed termination gives this piece strong display presence under both direct and diffused light.

RARITY

Crystals exceeding 2 carats with complete hexagonal form are scarce even from the classic Wah Wah pockets. Most Utah red beryls remain under 1.5 ct or show incomplete terminations. RB4 combines desirable geometry, thickness, and saturation, an authentic larger miniature from the world’s only commercial source of this rare species.
