Natural tsavorite garnet from the Merelani Hills of Tanzania, one of the world’s most important sources of gem-quality tsavorite. This untreated crystal displays a rich green colour, natural crystal faces and strong visual presence, making it a particularly appealing specimen for collectors of garnet, African minerals and natural gemstone crystals.

Unlike faceted tsavorite, this crystal has been left in its natural form, preserving the shape, surface texture and internal features created during formation. At 17.53 carats, it has more presence than many small tsavorite specimens while still retaining the natural character that makes crystallised Merelani material so desirable.
