A tricolour tourmaline crystal from the Paprok Mine, Afghanistan, showing a bright sequence of green, pink, and light-green zoning. This naturally terminated elbaite crystal weighs 6.5 carats and measures approximately 1.4 × 0.3 × 0.3 cm. Its glassy prism faces and vivid colour transitions make it a balanced, display-worthy miniature from one of Afghanistan’s best-known pegmatite fields.
The colour zoning is crisp and evenly distributed along the crystal’s length. Light passes cleanly through the green zones, while the soft pink centre gives warmth and contrast. With a sharp natural termination and minimal surface wear, it captures the distinct character of Paprok’s high-quality tricolour material.
