A vivid green tourmaline crystal with a rare three-colour zoning pattern: bright green at the top, a soft pink-white band through the centre, and a lighter green base. The colours are clearly defined under light, and the crystal is terminated, transparent, and naturally lustrous.

This piece comes from the Paprok region of Afghanistan, a renowned source of fine elbaite tourmaline. It represents a less common growth phase, where slight shifts in trace elements produced alternating zones of chromium-green and manganese-pink. Unlike the typical pink-core “watermelon” form, this tricolour variation shows its zoning lengthwise along the prism, giving a distinct and elegant appearance.
