Mined in the Palo Arañado Mine, Chivor Boyacá, this piece weighs 300 g and measures 5.3 × 4.3 × 2.3 cm. Each face shows subtle natural etching and contrasting matte–reflective surfaces typical of Colombian material. Unlike the mirror-bright Peruvian pyrite, this variety has an organic, slightly rugged sheen that emphasises its natural origin and authenticity.
