This natural Colombian emerald crystal shows the vivid green colour that has made Boyacá emeralds famous worldwide. Measuring 8 × 4 mm and weighing 0.8 carat, it displays a slender prismatic form with stepped parallel growth and a broadened head. The termination is lightly etched yet intact, adding natural character to the crystal.
Unlike faceting rough, this piece is valued for its collector appeal. Its parallel-growth form, authentic provenance from Mina El Sufrimiento, and balanced colour make it a fine micromount specimen with strong display qualities despite its compact size.
