This natural Imperial Topaz crystal from the Vermelhão Mine, Ouro Preto, Brazil, displays golden-orange to warm sherry colouring, with a glowing honey-yellow centre and softer peach-orange tones towards its termination. The elongated crystal has a recognisable natural multi-faced termination and pronounced vertical growth striations running along its prism faces. Its colour and crystal form are characteristic of the Imperial Topaz found in this historic mineral-producing district of Minas Gerais.

Weighing 10 carats, this raw Imperial Topaz specimen is translucent to locally transparent, allowing light to pass through the golden interior. Fine internal fractures, natural growth features and scattered dark mineral inclusions are visible, particularly around the upper section. The termination is largely preserved, although it shows surface texture and irregularities, while the base is incomplete. Its combination of golden-orange colour, peach-toned termination and slender prismatic shape makes it an attractive thumbnail specimen for collectors of natural Brazilian Topaz.
