- One-off natural mineral specimen.
- You will receive the exact piece photographed, personally selected for its crystal formation and overall appearance.
- Photographed under controlled lighting to show the colour and internal detail; its appearance may vary under natural light.
This small Okorusu fluorite from Namibia has a particularly rich purple colour, with tightly intergrown cubic crystals ranging from deep violet and almost blackcurrant-purple to brighter magenta and pale lavender. Several of the larger cubes show darker internal colour zoning beneath lighter, translucent outer growth, giving the crystals considerable depth when examined under the light.
What I particularly like about this piece is how much crystal growth is packed into such a small specimen. The larger cubes rise above a dense arrangement of smaller crystals, with overlapping faces, stepped growth and good glassy lustre across much of the principal viewing side. The lighter edges contrast beautifully with the darker interiors, while turning the specimen reveals further purple crystal growth and different arrangements of the interlocking cubes.

Metaphysical Properties
Purple fluorite is traditionally associated with concentration, mental clarity, intuition and reflection. In crystal traditions, it is often regarded as a stone connected with clear thinking and personal awareness.
These are traditional metaphysical associations rather than scientifically established properties.
