This is a natural golden yellow fluorite specimen from Chebka Sidi Said in the Midelt area of Morocco, formed from several intergrown cubic crystals. The colour ranges from warm honey yellow through to a richer golden amber in the more translucent sections, with some particularly bright areas where light passes through the crystal. At just over 3 cm across, it is a compact thumbnail specimen but has a surprisingly substantial three-dimensional form.
Several of the larger fluorite faces remain clearly defined, surrounded by smaller intergrown crystals and areas of pale secondary crystallisation. The different crystal generations give the piece plenty to look at from several angles rather than one obvious display face. As expected with a natural fluorite specimen of this type, there are contact areas, small edge chips and incomplete crystal sections. These have been left exactly as found and are shown clearly in the photographs.

Metaphysical
In crystal traditions, yellow fluorite is associated with mental clarity, confidence and concentration. Some collectors use it as a focus stone when studying, organising thoughts or working creatively. These associations are traditional and spiritual rather than scientifically established.
